Jesus Christ in Islam? what a good topic to discuss.
The position of Muslim about Jesus Christ (pbuh) is very clear. Islam is the only non-christian faith, which makes certain article of faiths for the followers of Islam to believe in Jesus. No muslim is called a muslim, if He/She does not believe In Jesus Christ.
We believe that:
- Jesus Christ (pbuh) was one of the mightiest messenger of God.
- He was born miraculously. He was born without human father, but with miracle of God's creation. Some modern day christians, including 70% of Anglican Bishops Church of England, they dont believe today, but we muslim believe.
- Jesus gave back life to the death with God's permission.
- He was the messiah, translated Christ.
- He healed the blinds, the leppers with God' permission.
Not many Christian know that the Name of Jesus occurrred in the Quran 500% more times than the name of Muhammad SAW. His name was mentioned 25 times in the Quran in various verses and chapters.
There is also a chapter of the Quran which is named "Mary" or in arabic means " Surah Maryam ". Which is a the greatest respect gave to the Mother of Jesus.
Thus, it is not true to say that we muslims are anti-Christ, But we are actually Love Jesus Christ.
He is the beloved prophet of Islam. Every time the name of Jesus Christ is uttered, the respective term 'pbuh' must come together which means (peace be unto him).
So, hope this will give a good exposure to our Christian brothers and sisters about Islam and Jesus Christ (pbuh) in the sight of Islam.
hope our christian friend would response and see you in the next post.
