National Integrity And Power Sharing

1st of all i would like to say sorry to all readers for not writing quite a long time. I have lost some ideas to write before plus some problem of mine.

so as promised, i would comment on the public lecture given by YAB Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, which attended by thousands of people yesterday.

Tun was suggesting that Malaysia has difficulties in achieving National Integrity. It was clear from his lecture that Malaysia cannot have single national integrity. This is because every races in Malaysia, be it Malay, be it Chinese or be it Indian they want to retain their own identity. That is why velnacular schools are still in existent. Tun Admitted that government of his time cannot abolish this velnacular school, which is a barrier to national integrity because He afraid of losing support from this people. In order to be a strong and good goverment, supports of Indian and Chinese voters are also important.

about power sharing, Tun was suggesting that it is a must that a stable government should be made up of all races in a right proportion. It has been introduced so far and people accepted it.

My Personal Comments For Tun

1. other than velnacular school,The real barrier to national integrity is the existence of racial based parties. UMNO,MCA and MIC are all racial based parties.
Each of them strive for the benefit of their own people.So, as a former president of UMNO party, Tun is not in the position to spark the spirit of a single national integrity as it is against UMNO mission.

2. Now, as Tun says, there is a new force coming in. people now are more matured. many people now oppose racial based party. Have a look on PAS. its base is islam which mean justice for all regardless of their races and religion. Now more and more people are coming to the arm of PAS, including thousands of non-muslim who have come to realized that Islam stands for justice for all. With the motto of 'PAS FOR ALL' it sparks a new era for PAS as now, not even the Muslim understand its mission, but also the chinese and the indian. have a look at PKR, it is not racial but for all races. Dato Seri Anwar, who comes to be the symbol of unity, bring this people together.

3.that's why BN lost 5 states. our people now has serious crisis of confident towards ruling parties. But yet the ruling parties drown in the state of denial. they still believe that they are still supported.

4. Tun, I was upset they way you explain Islam as the symbol of unity in Malaysia. I admit u say Islam can do it. I admit you had said In the time of prophet that Islam brought peace and justice. the different sect of islam like sunni-shiah, the ayah pin teaching, the afganistan that you mentioned, these are all isolated problem. We know the true Islam is not like those. Why do you refer to those occasion? what are trying to say sir? You dont even give solution to this problem and leave the thousands of audience yesterday unanswered. I see this statement of yours to be dangerous for the mindset of non-muslim and muslim people that Islam cannot be symbol of unity. Hope you can give the true picture of Islam to all Malaysian people and not referring to isolated cases as I mentioned above.

5. Tun, you believe that Dato Seri Anwar or Pakatan Rakyat is daydreaming of toppling the government by 16 of September. You think this is imposible to happen. Before general election took place, we could have believe that Pakatan Rakyat can seize 5 states plus federal territory of Kuala Lumpur? who could have believed that. Sir, this thing |read : crossover|had happened before in the state level, I'm sure you knew it. I believe that the transition of power would soon happen in the national level. Many things that Pakatan Says has now became true.
So ,let's see together Sir, wether this things could happen or not.

6. last but not least, the issue of ISA. people already knew, that this ISA is made by the british as an act to fight the communist in this country long ago. the Mufti has said, that ISA is not islamic, meaning it is against the teaching of islam. In islam, a person is not guilty until proven guilty. You also say malaysia is not the only country that practise ISA. you mention about USA and Britain. Why should we follow this country?And why should we follow unjustice made by other countries?
You say Anwar is pro america. but anwar is anti- ISA. if you are not pro-america, why follow american's way? why support ISA?
